Refund Policy for Sindhu Travels

At Sindhu Travels, customer satisfaction is our priority. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are provided for our taxi and tour services.
1. Local Drop Taxi Services
1.1 Eligible for Full Refund:
- Service not provided as confirmed
- Vehicle breakdown with no replacement provided
- Driver no-show without prior notice
- Cancellation by Sindhu Travels
1.2 Partial Refund:
- Customer cancellation 30-60 minutes before pickup: 75% refund
- Customer cancellation 15-30 minutes before pickup: 50% refund
1.3 No Refund:
- Customer cancellation within 15 minutes of pickup time
- Customer no-show at pickup location
- Trip started and customer decides to discontinue
2. Outstation and Multi-Day Trips
2.1 Full Refund (100%):
- Cancellation made 7+ days before trip date
- Service cancellation by Sindhu Travels
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions)
2.2 Partial Refund:
- Cancellation 4-7 days before: 75% refund
- Cancellation 72-96 hours before: 50% refund
- Cancellation 48-72 hours before: 25% refund
2.3 No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before trip
- Customer no-show on trip date
- Trip abandoned mid-way by customer choice
3. Tour Packages
3.1 Full Refund (100%):
- Tour cancellation by Sindhu Travels
- Booking cancellation 15+ days before tour start date
3.2 Partial Refund:
- Cancellation 10-15 days before: 70% refund
- Cancellation 7-10 days before: 50% refund
- Cancellation 5-7 days before: 30% refund
3.3 No Refund:
- Cancellation less than 5 days before tour
- Customer absence on tour date
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Refund Timeline:
- Cash payments: Refund within 2-3 business days
- UPI/Bank Transfer: Refund within 5-7 business days
- Credit/Debit Card: Refund within 7-14 business days (depends on bank)
4.2 Refund Method:
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for booking.
5. Service Disruptions
If service is disrupted due to:
- Vehicle breakdown: Full refund or alternative vehicle provided
- Driver issues: Replacement driver or full refund
- Weather conditions: Rescheduling option or full refund
6. Dispute Resolution
If you believe you are entitled to a refund not covered by this policy:
- Contact us within 24 hours of service completion
- Provide booking details and reason for refund request
- We will review and respond within 2-3 business days
7. Non-Refundable Charges
The following are non-refundable:
- Toll charges, parking fees, and state taxes (if already incurred)
- Third-party booking fees (if applicable)
- Administrative charges for cancellations
