Cancellation Policy for Sindhu Travels

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel bookings with Sindhu Travels and the applicable charges for different types of services.
1. How to Cancel a Booking
You can cancel your booking through:

Please provide your booking ID/reference number when canceling.
2. Local Drop Taxi Cancellation
Free Cancellation:
- More than 60 minutes before scheduled pickup time
Cancellation Charges:

3. Airport Transfer Cancellation
Cancellation Charges:

| 12-24 hours | 30% of booking amount |
| 6-12 hours | 50% of booking amount |
| Less than 6 hours | 100% of booking amount |

4. Outstation Trip Cancellation
Cancellation Charges:

| 4-7 days | 25% of total fare |
| 72-96 hours | 50% of total fare |
| 48-72 hours | 75% of total fare |
| Less than 48 hours | 100% of total fare |
5. Tour Package Cancellation
Cancellation Charges:

| 10-15 days | 30% of package cost |
| 7-10 days | 50% of package cost |
| 5-7 days | 70% of package cost |
| Less than 5 days | 100% of package cost |
6. Modification vs. Cancellation
6.1 Rescheduling:
You can reschedule your booking free of charge if done:
- Local rides: 2+ hours before pickup
- Outstation trips: 48+ hours before trip
- Tour packages: 7+ days before tour
6.2 Route/Vehicle Changes:
Minor modifications to route or vehicle type can be made without cancellation charges, subject to availability.
7. Cancellation by Sindhu Travels
If we cancel your booking due to:
- Vehicle unavailability
- Driver issues
- Unforeseen circumstances
You will receive:
- 100% refund of any advance payment
- Alternative vehicle arrangement (if available)
- Priority booking for future services
8. Force Majeure Cancellations
In case of cancellations due to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones)
- Government restrictions or lockdowns
- Severe weather conditions making travel unsafe
- Civil unrest or emergencies
Policy: Full refund or credit note for future bookings (valid for 6 months)
9. No-Show Policy
If you fail to appear at the pickup location:
- Driver will wait for 15 minutes (free waiting time)
- After 15 minutes: Trip marked as no-show
- Full fare will be charged
- No refund will be provided
10. Group Booking Cancellations
For bookings of 3+ vehicles:
- Cancellation terms may vary based on booking agreement
- Custom cancellation policies will be communicated at time of booking
- Partial cancellations allowed with prior notice
11. Refund Processing
After cancellation approval:
- Refund amount calculated based on above policies
- Refund processed within 5-7 business days
- Refund credited to original payment method
- Confirmation email/SMS sent upon refund completion
12. Cancellation Confirmation
Upon successful cancellation, you will receive:
- Cancellation confirmation via SMS/Email
- Cancellation ID for reference
- Refund timeline details
13. Important Notes
- All cancellation times are calculated from scheduled pickup/trip start time
- Cancellation charges are deducted from advance payment (if any)
- Remaining amount refunded as per refund policy
- Festive season bookings may have special cancellation terms
- Corporate accounts may have custom cancellation agreements
